PARENT HELPERS
You are welcome into school to help your child's class and class teacher.
St. Cuthbert's have been indebted to the help we have received
over the years and we sincerely hope that this will continue.
We are a high achieving school and with your help and support we
can maintain this high profile.
Thank you for volunteering to be a part of our special school
Your skills are always appreciated but please do not feel that you have to be an expert.
The form below is for your information only but is available to
print by clicking on the following button.
The form will open in word, please print it and hand it into the school.
Thank you! Parent Helper Form
PARKING OUTSIDE ST. CUTHBERT'S
Parking outside the school at pick up and drop off times continues to be “shocking!”
I received a call from an irate neighbour (an ex parent of St Cuthbert’s) complaining about the parking and rudeness of my parents.
It is particularly bad when it is raining (therefore quite often!)
I could only sympathise about the situation and apologise on your behalf.
I did not come into the job to be a traffic warden –thankfully there are others with aspirations to carry out the role.
This is not “rocket science” – park at the Jurgen centre – stay fit, make friends,
be happy AND preserve your head teacher from the lions' jaws of local residents!!!!
HEAD LICE
There have been several cases reported throughout the school.
I urge you to check your child’s hair regularly and seek advice from the chemist.
Holidays
I am receiving a growing number of requests for holidays outside school.
I remind you that these cause major disruption and they affect my absence figures.
We are in the 'top ten' of schools in the country through team effort. Let us strive to keep it that way!
Clubs
Questionnaires reflected more need for school club provision. I have organised
