Collective Worship
We place Christ at the centre of all that we do in our School and our Collective Worships are a way of developing our children to getting to know Jesus better. We gather either as a Whole School, in buddy year groups or in our individual classes together to listen to the word (scripture), spend time in prayer and reflecting upon God’s Word and going forth and taking that mission to help and support others. Collective Worship at St Cuthbert’s happens every day. (See table below) Children plan their own collective worship using our special collective worship planning resources. They focus upon: Gather, Word, Respond, and Going Forth (Their Mission). Each day there is an opportunity for Collective Worship and or Spiritual Journaling, as listed below.

At St. Cuthbert's we believe it is important to have a range of worship including; Mass, liturgies, retreats, celebrations of other faiths, visits to the Church and many more.
