St Cuthbert's Catholic

Primary School

Easter 2021

Canon Chris approached the school and asked if we would be able to design a set of the Stations of the Cross that would be suitable to be used on the Parish of Egham live stream. Of course the Spiritual Council jumped at the chance to help support the Church in this way.

On Good Friday, the children's artwork and prayers were live streamed to the parish family. The art work was so colourful and eye catching and the prayers very thoughtful and reflective. It was a pleasure to be involved in the Easter Triduum in this way.

Year Six Easter Reflection

The Year Six children, along with their brilliant teacher and other amazing supporting staff, created an eco friendly Easter reflection. They used the Easter story as their focus for a mini four week project on return from Lockdown 2021. In this project they honed on the Pope's Laudato Si message about helping to look after our world, and the children were inspired to recycle and recreate the outfits for this years reflection. The results were very impressive in terms of outfit production as well as the maturity this year group showed in their attitude towards being so respectful of the precious Easter story.

Well done to the whole Year Six team and everyone involved.
