2022/2023
Sports Crew Training 9.10.22
Our Sports Crew had their 3 hours training session at Royal Holloway on Wednesday of this week. The children have now gained their Bronze award (these will be awarded to them in next week's celebration assembly). We are all keen for them to gain their Silver and Gold awards before the end of year 5. This will involve them organising PhysiFun festivals within school, writing newsletter reports about these festivals, obtaining children's voice, leading in lessons and reflecting on their leadership skills. I am looking forward to seeing the children get stuck into their roles in school in the coming weeks.

Whole school Cancer Research Run Friday June 10th 2022
EYFS & KS1 2K on our field
KS2 5K into the park
What a fantastic morning we all had on Friday June 10th running for Cancer Research.
Our KS2 children run 5k in Windsor Great Park and our EYFS/KS1 children all ran 2k on our playing field. Our children’s effort, enthusiasm and resilience was very evident.
A big thank you for helping this charity.
Core Judo taster sessions years 1-6 Thursday June 16th 2022
Core Judo
A big thank you to Core Judo who gave up their time to all our year 1-6 children this month. The children enjoyed the experience. I am hopeful Aaron and his team will start a club in September.
Here are some children’s thoughts on their session:
Aksel – Year 1. I liked it because we had to keep trying to get our partners to the floor.
Leo – Year 3. The coaches were imaginative and I learnt how to speak a bit of Japanese.
