Our Mission Statement:
''We are a Catholic Community living and learning in faith
through the Gospel values of faith, hope, trust and love.
We aim to recognise individuality and encourage each other to fulfil our potential.''
Our School Vision.
At St Cuthbert’s our Vision is to enable every child to fulfil their potential.
Our children are at the heart of our School. Learning and playing together in friendship, they are surrounded by the support of Staff, Parents, Governors and the wider Parish and Community.
At St Cuthbert’s we strive to deepen our:
Faith – living and learning as Jesus taught us, with love and forgiveness in our hearts.
We believe Values are important - in particular learning Respect for ourselves, for each other and our world. We seek to inspire our children with a Creative Curriculum, where as well as a sound foundation in the core skills of RE, Reading, Writing, Maths, Science and Computing we bring all subjects to life so our children:
Discover, Explore and Create.
At the same time, our children have the opportunity to develop at Sport, and understand the importance of good Health and Wellbeing.
Finally, we want our children to develop a Love of Learning that will serve them for life – being curious, learning to challenge themselves, learning from their mistakes and learning to try again.
