Sports Day is a big event on the school calendar. 

It is held annually in the Summer Term and attended by our families. Our PTA are involved too and host a refreshments stand as well as a pre loved uniform sale (on occasion). It really is a brilliant day loved by all. 

Field Events

In the morning, the classes arrive on the field in the houses with their buddy class.

They compete in a carousel of activities including;

- speed bounce

- howler throw

- bean bag throw

- standing long jump

Track Events

EYFS and KS1 enjoy their running races together in the morning and in the afternoon KS2 participate in their track events. 

Track events include;

- Sprinting

- Longer distance

- Obstacle race

- Egg and Spoon

- Bean Bag race

- Relays

 

 

Sports Crew

Our Sports Crew are a huge help on Sports Day and play an integral part to the smooth running on the event alongside our Coaching Team from Planet Soccor/Active 7.
