Home Learning

Home Learning is published on Seesaw on a Wednesday and should be handed in the following Monday morning. Year 6 children are expected to read for at least 20 minutes, 3 times a week. Maths and English homework is given every week along with Spellings. Children are also expected to complete either RE, Science or Foundation subject homework every week.

SATS

Year 6 children do their SATS tests in May. Preparation for the tests is done during lesson time. 

Residential 

Year 6 children go to the PGL centre at Windmill Hill in the first half of the Autumn term. Here they take part in a range of exciting (and sometimes challenging) activities. This gives the children an opportunity to bond as a class, build resilience and become more responsible and independent.
