PTA

Welcome to webpages of the St Cuthbert's School Association (aka the PTA), a charitable organisation made up of parents and teachers seeking to foster relationships in the school community and raise money for the school. Anyone who has a child at St Cuthbert's is automatically a member of the Association. If you would like more information on becoming more involved or have any ideas please contact one of our committee members (your class reps are committee members).

Why support the PTA? What are the current fundraising aims and what have funds been spent on?

    • In 2019 the PTA provided flexible seating for the classrooms. At the 2020 AGM we committed to support the school by donating money towards the outdoor classroom constructed during Summer 2020. In the past the PTA has funded interactive whiteboards and the piano in the hall, for example.
    • In the 2020/21 academic year we have designed and supplied the new Cuddy Duck dojo (star of the week) recycled plastic badges and agreed to fund new equipment on the infant (KS1/Bagshot Road) playground. We also launched a fundraising drive for the Year 4 Planting and Recyling Teams' Laudato Si' projects.
    • We are currently fundraising towards improving the prayer garden.
    • In the long term we would like to provide a large piece of play equipment on the school field.
