St Cuthbert's Catholic

Primary School

Welcome to webpages of the St Cuthbert's School Association (aka the PTA), a charitable organisation made up of parents, guardians and teachers seeking to foster relationships in the school community and raise money for the school. Anyone who has a child at St Cuthbert's is automatically a member of the Association. If you would like more information on becoming more involved or have any ideas please contact one of our committee members (your class reps are committee members).

Why support the PTA? What are the current fundraising aims and what have funds been spent on?

    • Throughout 2022-2023 we were able to provide the school with banners, backdrop screens for school performances, 15 laptops and laptop trolley for storage, some workshops, and lots and lots of books among other items.
    • The £9,000 Cuddy Duck Library, as named by the children, was opened on World Book Day. We were proud to be able to donate the funds for this integral facility for our children.
    • We are currently raising funds to buy a further 15 laptops and are looking to assist with the EYFS playground project.
    • BUT…it is not all about raising money!! We feel strongly that promoting and encouraging community spirit to be inclusive and accessible to all will have a positive impact on our children, the teachers and staff, us and the Parish.
