Working party on Saturday 16th October 8am to 12pm depending on numbers (please let us know what times you can make if you cannot come all morning)
The day will be shorter the more people that can attend - ideally with tools and paintbrushes.
Children welcome if you or a PTA friend are able to watch them
The working party on Saturday will be led by Neil. Adriana will lead on furniture upcycling and encourages you to join her!
Neil has set out the priorities and where your help is needed for tools etc:
1. Installing privacy screening (2 people minimum)
2. Tidying brambles, pond area and the meadow (8 people minimum, provided there are sufficient tools)
It would be ideal if someone with appropriate tools can support with the pond / grass / brambles clearance work. The more the merrier here, as clearing up and disposal of the waste will be time consuming. Petrol strimmers and hedge trimmers are needed or electric with extension leads.
3. Fence painting (as many as can help)
There is quite a bit of painting to do and this is an area where many hands can make light work. We also need lots of brushes and paint kettles
4. Moving the table tennis tables (2 people minimum)
Please let us know which of the tasks above you can commit to and the tools you can provide, by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org
