Reception attended to a mindfulness workshop
First, we learnt the technique of "Five finger breathing", that helped us feel more calm and relaxed. Then, we learnt that our mind is like a seed that we need to look after. For our seed to grow nicely it will need water, sun, soil (nutrients-seed's food) and a good gardener to look after it. Similar to the seed, in order for our brain to grow healthy we need food and water, hobbies, friends and family and sleep and rest. We all planted a little seed in a pot that we took home that day and we are looking after them really well!
