Year Two
Authentic Outcome - Arctic and Kenya Quiz day!
For our Authentic Outcome in Year Two, the children worked really hard to produce fact files - one which was all about Kenya and one which was all about the Arctic.
The children were really excited about these as they had spent a lot of time reading various information texts and fact files and thought it would be great to have created their own fact files that can be used by the next Year Twos coming up in the next academic year.
The children then gave the fact files to the Year Three children to read and we invited them to a 'quiz day' around the fire pit.
Year Two put on two separate quizzes for the Year Threes, along with some light entertainment - this included Kenyan drumming, dancing and jumping and Arctic throat singing. The event was a big hit and both classes really enjoyed themselves.
